Its another year and this means another Metrocon!!! Now sadly this year will not be as special as other years due to the fact my partner in crime Sharishark will not be in attendance (Otaku replenishment will not be the same without you) :(

This is a question that has plagued me for a very long time(like 2 years :p). Should I be into The Wonder Girls, I mean is there existence really needed in the overcrowded ocean that is K-Pop? Truth be told, originally, I was completely against this group, but before the fan girls bludgeon me with hammers let me explain!It was a cold winters night, due to a pushy sales woman my father agreed to have Fios installed. As I stood shivering, I began to discover this new world of on demand and never before seen channels. That's when I discover the gem that is Mnet America! At this time the channel was shared with the soundtrack channel(WTF)and only played Mnet after 7pm. Funny Fact about that was I always found myself surprised when I tuned in due to the fact the guide simply would say "Mnet Movies and Music" with no description(kinda fun, in a slit my wrists kinda way). But this was a new frontier I was down to explore and I watched every program they provided my innocent little eyes. That first night, these special eyes watched a special Introducing me and America to the Korean pop group Wonder Girls. It was shot in a reality style(ATTENTION READER: please comment if you know of the special I'm speaking of).In this special I saw the girls in the group act like complete brats, including but not limited to toddler like bickering between members where screaming was involved. This was the polar opposite of what I thought being an adorable, and talented K-Pop Star was and I was shocked. Now yes there young, yes they are stuck together for long periods of time, and yes nobody is perfect.
But this left a bad taste in my mouth and there music at that point really didn't justify a misunderstood artist complex so I turned the channel in disappointment. I mean these cute Korean girls weren't the cute bff's who just wanted to perform and share there talent like I was lead to believe all girl groups were supposed to be. This made me feel like they were forced to be together, no one wanted to be there, and it was just for money. This cheapened it and messed me up for a little while. I just kept wondering "is the persona of these girl groups real?" :( As time past 2NE1 cured me with there awesome reality show and beautiful relationship, and talent!!!!! <3 All the while still hearing about the Wonder Girls. Of course at this point, being biased I ignore all the hype, whether news regarding them being on tour with The Jonas Brothers, or appearing at numerous fashion week shows I really didn't care.
Fast Forward To 2012 TeenNick Premiers The Wonder Girls TV Movie, which I thoroughly Enjoyed(jokingly/seriously). This made me realize there angle(I know TeenNick movie Really?),Causing me to finally break down and admit that this song "Be My Baby" is amazing.
This is a song that has a sound worthy of being recognized. The dance moves flow perfectly and look easy to replicate. Also at the time it was insanely different from other sounds on the K-Pop scene, and this lead me to discover the Wonder Girls core music style is old school blues/hip hop. This of course lead me to like them more :) Then 2 weeks ago the girls returned with a new style, a new mini album "Wonder Party" and a song that I am sure I wont regret saying is my favorite K-Pop song so far of 2012, "Like This"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once again this is a jam unlike any other out at the moment and I am obsessed with it, it makes me feel like I'm at a 90's block party and I have dibs on the BBQ Ribs. So in conclusion, YEAH The Wonder Girls are different and YES they deserve the fame they have and I can overlook the probably 30 minute editing job some old guy did to some special I cant even remember the name of where he thought I could handle a non perfect girl group. Because in a world of 100 K-Pop girl groups where 90 are all the same, The Wonder Girls aren't perfect, but that imperfectness creates art displaying there talent which in the end proves theres nobody like The Wonder Girls.
I'm a little late, as always, but right now I'm obsessed with Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai! This anime literally has everything Romance(somewhat twisted), Action(rare but still awesome), Otaku References(everywhere) and of course FAN SERVICE FAN SERVICE FAN SERVICE!!!!!
Now the series begins by following Kodaka Hasegawa who recently transferred to a new school and through a series of unfortunate events(not lemony snicket) is considered a bully. This of course leads to no one wanting to be friends with him, so when he overhears a fellow student,Yozora Mikazuki, talking to her invisible friend "Tomo" he approaches her and they decide to start a Neighbors club with the sole purpose of making friends.I finished all 12 episodes of this series in 1 weekend of strep throat hell :( I also almost died but you know what cute little Kobato Hasegawa got me through it.
I know its been forever, Life has been crazy, But life would be boring if it wasn't crazy wouldn't it? We have good news though, Sharishark and I are officially back and as our readers you can be siked to know we will once again be providing you with awesome news, photos, and opinions straight from the heart of Asia and beyond (space that is)! I mean whats not to love???? the story revolves around Rito Yūki, a high-school student who cannot confess his love to the girl of his dreams, Haruna Sairenji. One day when coming home and sulking in the bathtub, a mysterious, girl appears out of nowhere. Her name is Lala and she comes from the planet Deviluke, where she is the heir to the throne. Her father wants her to return to her home planet so she can marry one of the husband candidates. But she decides that she wants to marry Rito in order to stay on Earth. Commander Zastin has been ordered to bring Lala back and has already battled Rito. He reports to the emperor that Rito would be suited to marry Lala, after hearing Rito, who was actually defending himself instead of Lala, says that marriage is impossible unless it is with the person you love. Lala truly falls in love with Rito and decides that she wants to marry Rito after hearing what he said. Her father decides that, if Rito is able to protect Lala from her fiancés, then he can marry her, but if Rito cannot protect Lala from her other fiancés and meet the king's expectations, Lala's father will kill Rito and destroy the Earth. Phew.................... Outta breath hahahaha not to mention LALA is the cutest character ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His powers were sealed at birth into the demon-slaying blade Kurikara, or Koumaken, by Mephisto Pheles, allowing him to live a normal human life for about 15 years. Rin became aware of his true identity after Kurikara could no longer seal the blue flames he inherited from Satan, setting off a chain of events that led to the death of his guardian, Father and Exorcist Fujimoto Shiro, at the hands of Satan, who attempted to drag Rin back to the demon realm. Exorcist Mephisto Pheles confronted Rin after Shiro's funeral with several exorcists, giving Rin the option to kill them all or die. Rin instead demanded to become an exorcist, an idea that amused Mephisto. Rin was then enrolled personally by Mephisto into the True Cross Academy Exorcist School, where he has since been pursuing his goal to become a Paladin and to defeat Satan. He is currently an Esquire and attempting to gain the title of Meister as a "Knight". If you love Soul Eater you'll definately love Blue Exorcist, I know its a little old as was To Love-Ru, But there not to old that you cant get into them and all there otaku goodie goodness, yeah no what im saying!
Sorry about the hiatus, Sharishark and I have been crazy, super, extremely busy the past few weeks, but were back with a vengeance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, so Metrocon was two weeks ago and I had the pleasure of hanging out with the group attending the annual Super Dolfie meet up at Metrocon. Now According to the website depending on the body size and body type, Super Dollfie can currently be divided into 13 different series.
First of all, there are 9 different sizes. Super Dollfie sizes are not divided based upon scale, but rather on the body size at different time periods; from the youthful figure of one just born, right up to a figure just on the brink of adulthood.
Next of all, each of these sizes can be divided into two types: a human type with gender and a male or female body, and an angel type with a genderless asexual body and wings.
For example, the 'SD Ko-Tenshi' can be said to be a series that is MSD size and with an angel type body.
For the human type, as the male and female figures are different, the clothing and shoe size may differ, and the minute details of the joints and such may be different as well.
There are also some bodies that possess special mechanisms or features that enable certain sitting poses and other various types of movements.
